     Baked Pork Chops and Wild Ricw

Ingredients
3-4 c. Wild rice
1 can Onion soup, undiluted
1-4 c. Dry white wine
4 loin pork chops, about 1 1-2 in. thick
2 T. Drippings (bacon or olive oil)
Salt and pepper
1tart apple, cored and cut into 4 slices
1 medium tomato, cut into 4 slices
Stuffed olives
 

Instructions
preheat oven to 325 degrees. Wash rice, drain and place into a buttered casserole dish. Combine soup and wine; mix with rice. Brown chops on both sides in drippings. Season chops with salt and pepper to taste. Place chops on top of rice mixture.
Bake for one hour. Arrange a slice of apple and tomato on each chop. Bake uncovered, 30 minutes longer. Top each serving with olive slices.
