Brown ground beef and crumble; drain excess fat.
Add taco seasoning, taco sauce, minced onion,
tomato paste, sugar and 2 cups hot water.
Bring to a boil, then simmer for 15 minutes on
low. Raise heat and continue to cook, stirring,
until liquid dissipates.
Serve sandwich mixture on toasted buns with
shredded lettuce, diced tomato, shredded cheese
and extra taco sauce as desired.
