     Russian Toffee

Ingredients
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup butter
1/2 cup cream
1/2 cup golden syrup
Vanilla
 

Instructions
Put butter in saucepan and when melted add other ingredients. Boil altogether until toffee is crisp when tested in cold water. Pour onto greases bake it pan and when it begins to set mark into squares. Afterward cutting into pieces when cold.
The toffee should be stirred often as it burns quickly if left to itself.
