Boil dates in 1 cup water until really soft and water evaporates.
Make crumb mix by mixing rolled oats, 1/2 cup flour, brown
sugar, baking powder, salt and butter in a bowl. Put half the
crumb mix in the bottom of a pan. Spread the dates over the
top. Add 1/2 cup of flour to the remaining crumb mix and place
on top. Press down a bit. Bake at 375 for 40 minutes or until
brown.
