1 12-ounce bag, Pepperidge Farm Herb seasoned cubed stuffing
2 celery stalks, sliced thin
1 cup minced onion
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp powdered sage
1 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp dried thyme
pinch of nutmeg
1 15 oz can applesauce
1 14oz can chicken broth
Salt and Pepper to tatse
Instructions
Cook the celery and onion in butter over moderate
heat until soft. Add the sage, parsley, thyme and
nutmeg. Cook another minute. Mix in the stuffing
cubes, applesauce and chicken broth. Add salt and
pepper to taste.
Stuff into a turkey before baking or bake separately
in a Pyrex bowl for 45 minutes at 350 degrees f.
