Cover and steam on stovetop until the mussels
open, approximately 10 to 12 minutes after liquid
starts to boil. Turn off heat, Remove the cover
and sprinkle the cheese over the cooked mussels,
trying to get the cheese into as many of the
mussels as practical. Place the skillet in a
boiler and broil until cheese starts to melt and
shells just start to brown, approximately 5
minutes.
