Preheat oven to 350 degrees. spray a 9 x 9 pan with
Pam. Put cherry pie filling in bottom of pan. Add
a thick layer of cake mix (about 1/2 inch thick) on
top of cherry pie filling. One box of cake mix works well for
a 9x13 pan Cut the stick of butter into small cubes.
Sprinkle evenly over the cake mix.
