COOKIES - Blend butter, yogurt, sugar and vanilla.
Mix until creamy, then add eggs. In a large bowl,
mix flour, baking powder and salt. Mix into a
smooth creamed mixture.
Drop from a teaspoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees for 12 - 15 minutes until
lightly browned.
FROSTING - Place the powdered sugar into a bowl
and gradually add the water while stirring with a
fork to achieve the desired consistency. Drop the
frosting onto the cookies from a teaspoon.
Immediately add the sugar sprinkles onto the
frosting. Enjoy!
This is a variation of my sisters' Italian cream
cheese cookies substituting the cream cheese with
Greek yogurt. You can use any flavor that you would
like however it is important that you use blended
yogurt to achieve consistency of flavor throughout.
