1.2 lb. lean ground beef, seasoned with salt and pepper
1/4 Cup chopped onion
1 clove minced garlic
1 jar (24 oz) spaghetti sauce
6 oz. chive and onion cream cheese (divided)
2 tsp. italian seasoning
1 Cup shredded mozzarella (divided)
3 Cups cooked penne (1-1/2 dry penne)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 deg. In Dutch Oven over medium-high heat,
cook ground beef, onion and garlic. Drain grease. Then stir in
spaghetti sauce, 4 oz. of cream cheese, italian seasoning, and 1/2
cup of mozzarellas .
Cook and stir this mixture until cheese is melted, about 5 minutes.
Gently stir in the cooked penne to combine.
Carefully pour this into a greased 8 X 8 inch baking dish. Dot the rest
of the cream cheese evenly over the pasta. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2
Cup of Mozzarella evenly over the top. Bake, uncovered, for 20
minutes or until hot and bubbly. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
