     Parmesan Garlic Roasted Cabbage Steaks

Ingredients
1 medium head cabbage
4 tsp olive oil
4 tsp minced garlic
1/3 cup shredded parmesan cheese
salt/pepper to taste
 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 deg F
Cut off the stem end of the head of cabbage and set it so that the flat end is on the surface of the cutting board. Cut into 1-inch-thick slices. Arrange the slices on a cookie sheet.
Drizzle oil over the cabbage slices and sprinkle with the garlic, salt and pepper. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake in the pre-heated oven until cabbage core is easily pierced with a fork, approximately 45 minutes. Sprinkle with the shredded parm, turn off oven and leave uncovered until cheese melts. Remove from oven and enjoy!
