simmer the onion, celery,and carrot in the can of
chicken broth until tender.
pre heat oven to 350.
in a large bowl ter the bread into small pieces, add
the salt,pepper,sage,thyme, and celery seed, mix in
the chicken and celery soup, mix it all together,
then add in the simmered onion mix.
then you will have to add more chicken broth to get
the proper moisture 1/2 to 1 can. want moist but NOT
soupy.
place the mixture in a greased 9 x 13 baking dish.
Sprinkle paprica & parsley on top.
Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
If dressing appears too dry, pour some chicken broth
on top to keep it moist.
