     Honey Garlic Hot Wings

Category   Entrees - Maindishes
Sub Category   None

Ingredients
12 wing sections
2 Tablespoons of Butter (melted)
2 tablespoons of hot sauce (Franks, Crystal)
1 tablespoon honey
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 tsp salt
1tsp thyme (dried)

Instructions
DRY THE WINGS- Place them on a wire rack in the refrigerator overnight. I give them a light coat of seasoned baking powder. The drier the wings, the crispier the skin and juicier the meat! Fry wings in 375 degree oil for 10 minutes, until crispy -or- Bake in 450 degree oven for 30-35 minutes, until crispy (turn wings halfway through cooking) -or- Air fryer at 400 for 25 minutes
Over low heat, melt butter. Add hot sauce and whisk to emulsify. Add honey, garlic and thyme. Allow to cool to room temperature.
When wings are crispy, toss them in the sauce thoroughly to coat.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with celery, carrot and ranch dressing
