     Broiled steak with balsamic vinegar and black pepp

Ingredients
1 sirloin steak, 1 1/2 lb (720g)
1/3 cup (3fl oz/80ml) balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon freshly ground pepper
salt
 

Instructions
Place the steak in a shallow dish. In a small bowl stir together the vinegar, oil, honey and pepper. Pour over the steak. Let stand at room temperture for 1-2 hours.
Preheat a broiler(griller) or prepare a fire in the charcoal grill. Sprinkle the steak lightly with salt. Place the steak on a rack in a broiler pan and slip under the hot broiler, or place the steak on a grill rack over hot coals. Broil or grill, turning once, 3 minutes per side for rare, or until done to your liking.
Slice and serve at once.
