Preheatthe oven to 350 F
cream butter and sugar 4-5 minutes or until light and fluffy
scrape the bowl and add eggs and vanilla
cream for 1-2 minutes longer
stir in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt just until combined
refrigerate the dogh for 20-30 minutes
roll into balls
roll in cinnamon mixture
press slightly in the middle
bake for 9-11 minutes
