4 stalks celery chopped small about 1 cup chopped celery
1/2 red or green bell pepper diced, seeds removed approximately 2/3 cup)
1/4 small onion diced
2 cups small salad shrimp cooked
Dressing
1 cup mayonnaise
2 Tablespoons sour cream
2 teaspoons distilled white vinegar
1 1/2 teaspoons granulated sugar
3/4 teaspoon celery seed
1/4 teaspoon ground mustard
1/4 t salt
1/4 t pepper
Instructions
Cook macaroni noodles al dente according to package
instructions. Drain and rinse under cool water, drain again
and transfer to a large bowl. Add celery, pepper, onion, and
shrimp and stir to combine.
In a separate bowl, whisk together dressing ingredients
Pour dressing over macaroni mixture and stir well until all
ingredients are coated with dressing. Cover shrimp
macaroni salad and refrigerate at least one hour preferably
overnight for the flavor to fully develop before serving.
Always stir before serving.
