Preheat oven to 375'
In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
Cream butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar and vanilla. Add egg and blend well.
Stir in remaining dry ingredients, and then the chocolate chips. Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet.
Bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned on edges. Remove from oven and cool on wire rack.
