In large bowl, mix puddings, cake mix, oil, water, eggs and vanilla. In a separate bowl mix the pecans and brown sugar. Spread half of the batter into a greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Cover with half of the pecan mixture. spread the rest of the batter and top with the remaining pecan mixture.
