     ALMOND POPPY SEED BREAD

Ingredients
3 cups flour
2-1/2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1-1/2 cup milk
1-1/2 tsp. baking powder
1-1/2 tsp. vanilla
1-1/2 tsp. almond extract
1-1/2 tsp. butter extract
1/2 tsp. salt
 
1-1/2 TBS. poppy seeds
1 cup - 2 TBS. oil
Glaze-
1/4 cup orange juice
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. each of vanilla, almond & butter extracts
1/2 tsp. oil

Instructions
Spray 1 loaf or 5 mini-loaf pans with oil and preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix all ingredients for bread. Pour into pan(s) and bake for 60 minutes (or, for mini-loaves, pour 1 cup batter into each of the 5 pans and bake for 35-45 minutes). Bread is done when toothpick comes out clean.
While bread is baking, mix ingredients for glaze in a medium saucepan and heat until sugar dissolves. Set aside.
While bread is still warm, prick top of loaves with fork. Pour glaze over bread. Let cool.
Serving Suggestions
6 mini-loaves with 275 grams of batter in each pan (16789)
