     meatball stew

Category   Entrees - Maindishes
Sub Category   None

Ingredients
1lb extra lean ground turkey
Lipton onion soup mix
1/2 C water
1T worsteshire
Chicken Broth
2 cans tomato sauce
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 large onion
1 stalk celery

chili powder to taste
italian seasoning to taste
garlic to taste
basil to taste
worsteshire sauce to taste
1 bag frozen mixed vegetables

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350. Mix ground turkey, lipton onion soup mix, water & 1T worsetshire sauce. Mix well then shape into meatballs (medium sized works best). Bake for 30-40 minutes or until done. For stew it is best to cook the meatballs until they are very crispy so that they do not get soggy in the stew.
Mix Chicken broth, tomato sauce, stewed tomatoes, 1 large onion, celery, chili powder, italian seasoning, garlic, basil and worsteshire to a soft boil then add mixed vegetables. Bring to a boil then reduce to simmer for 15-20 minutes.
When meatballs are done drop them in the stew and serve.
For leftover serve over brown rice
