Brown beef and onion, drain off grease. Add garlic, oregano, basil, tomato sauce, tomato paste and salt (to taste). Simmer for 1 hour. Cook noodles in water with a little oil. Seperate and cool
Mix and set aside cottage cheese, egg, pepper, grated parmesan and parsley and beat.
Layer 3 noodles across a sheet pan. Using 1/3 of meat and cheese mixture) Add 1 layer of meat, 1 layer or cheese and sprinkle mozzarella cheese. Repeat until you have 3 layers and top with Mozzarella.
Bake at 325 for 30 minutes.
