2 cups pecans
1 lb dates
1 can coconut
1 lb orange slices (cut into ¼’s)
2 sticks margarine melted
2 cups flour
1 ½ cups sugar
1 tsp slat
½ cup buttermilk
1 egg
1 tsp soda
1 tsp vanilla
Place pecans, dates, coconut and candy in large bowl; pour margarine over them and set aside. Mix well together remaining ingredients and mix into candy mixture. Bake in coffee cans or fluted tube pan 1 hr at 300. Cool completely before removing from pan.
