1 1/2 cups fresh broccoli florets (can sub frozen)
1 1/2 tsp sesame oil
1/8 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1 Tbs low sodium soy sauce
2 garlic cloves, minced
3/4 tsp sugar
3/4 tsp lemon juice
1 Tbs creamy peanut butter (optional)
Instructions
Place 1 in. of water in saucepan, add broccoli and bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 5-8 min. or until crisp-tender. (option: put everything in steamer bag and follow directions on bag for cooking time)
Meanwhile, in small saucepan, heat the oil and red pepper flakes over medium heat for 2 minutes or until hot. Stir in soy sauce, garlic, sugar and lemon juice. Cook and stir for 1-2 minutes or until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat.
Drain broccoli and transfer to serving bowl. Pour garlic sauce over, toss to coat. Serve warm or chilled with slotted spoon.
