Mix and beat above ingredients for two minutes. Add 3/4 cup salad oil and mix well. Pour into greased pan (9x13) and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.

While cake is baking, mix the juice and grated rind of two lemons with 2 cups powdered sugar.
|
|
|
Remove cake from oven and prick all over with a toothpick or meat fork. Pour lemon/powdered suggar mixture all over cake while cake is still hot.
