     Best Chili Ever

Category   Salads - Soups - Sidedishes
Sub Category   None
Servings   12

Ingredients
2 lbs ground beef
1 (29 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (29 ounce) can kidney beans (with liquid)
1 (29 ounce) can pinto beans (with liquid)
1 cup diced onions (approx 1 medium onion)
1/2 cup diced green chili peppers (approx 2 chilies)
1/4 cup diced celery (approx 1 stalk)
3 medium tomatoes chopped
2 teaspoons cumin powder

3 tablespoons chili powder
1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
2 teaspoons salt
2 cups water

Instructions
Brown the ground beef and drain the fat. Use a fork to crumble the beef into pea sized pieces.
Combine beef and all remaining ingredients in a large pot and bring to a simmer over low heat. Cook, stirring every 15 minutes, for 2 - 3 hours.
~~ I also like using a slow cooker and placing it on low for 8 hours so I can avoid the stirring and have a great meal when I get home from work.
Serving Suggestions
top with chopped onion and cheddar cheese, serve with saltines
