Wipe mushrooms clean with damp paper towel. Twist off stems from caps. Chop stems very fine. Place in small bowl with onion and butter.
Cook in microwave uncovered on high for 3 mins or until onion is tender. Combine mushroom mixture with breadcrumbs, hot pepper sauce and sherry; mix well.
Fill caps with stuffing, place in 8 inch baking dish. Cover; microwave on bake for 4 mins until piping hot.
