     My Jambalaya

Ingredients
1/2 C green onions, chopped
1/2 C onions, chopped
1 large green pepper, cut in strips
1/2 C chopped celery, with some leaves
1 tsp minced garlic
1/3 C butter
1/2 to 1 lb raw shrimp, peeled and cleaned
1 C cooked ham, cubed
1 lb can tomatoes
 
1 C chicken broth
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1 C raw rice

Instructions
In a large pan saute onion, green pepper, celery and garlic in the butter until tender but not browned. Add shrimp and cook 5 mins.
Add the tomatoes, broth, salt, cayenne, rice and ham. Stir and cover. Cook 25 - 30 mins. over low heat or until rice is done.
