     Beef Pepper Steak

Ingredients
1/4 C oil
1 lb round steak, cut into 1/8 inch strips
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
2 green peppers, thinly sliced
1 Tbl cornstarch
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 C cold water
2 Tbl soy sauce
1 tsp sugar
 
1 tsp garlic salt

Instructions
Preheat oil in electric skillet, uncovered at 325. Add meat and browm. Remove.
Add onion and pepper to skillet and cook until tender. Dissolve cornstarch in water and soy sauce. Pour into skillet with vegetables, stirring until sauce is thickened and clear.
Add meat and cok several minutes longer or until heated through. Serve over hot rice.
