     Turkey n Dumplings

Ingredients
3 Cups Cubed Turkey
1 Can (4 OZ) or 1/2 cup Mushroom Stems or peices drained
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup sour cream
2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup
Topping
1 egg slightly beaten
1 cup complete pancake mix
1/3 cup corn meal
 
1/2 Tsp salt
3/4 cup milk
2 cup Monterey Jack or Cheddar cheese

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. In a large sauce pan combine the first 5 ingredients; simmer preparing the topping.
In a medium bowl combine all the ingredients except the cheese, bend well. Then stir in the cheese. Pour the hot turkey mixture in an ungreased 12"x8" baking dish or shallow 2 quart casserole dish.
Spoon the topping over the turkey mixture. bake uncovered for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown. Place the casserole on foil or a cookie sheet during baking to guard against spillage.
This is a really good recipe. I prefer to addd 1/2 to 1 cup of frozen green peas to the turkey mixture as it is simmering. Great for Thanksgiving leftovers
