     Pecan Tarts

Ingredients
3oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup all purpose flour
1/4tsp. salt
Filling:
1 egg
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1Tbl butter, softened
 
1tsp. vanilla
2/3 cup chopped pecans

Instructions
Beat cream cheese and butter; blend in flour and salt. Chill for 1 hour. Shape into 1-inch balls; press in bottom of and on the sides of mini muffin cups.
Filling: Beat egg, add brown sugar, butter and vanilla; mix well. Stir in pecans, spoon into shells.
Bake at 325 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
