     Roasted Asparagus with Balsamic Browned Butter

Ingredients
40 spears of asparagus, trimmed (about 2 lbs.)
olive oil or cooking spray
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
fresh ground pepper
2 Tbls. Earth Balance butter
2 tsps. soy sauce (or Nama Shoyu)
1 tsp. balsamic vinegar
 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Arrange asparagus in a single layer on baking sheet, coat with oil (or spray). Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake at 400 degrees for 12 minutes or until tender.
While asparagus is baking, melt butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Cook for 3 minutes or until lightly browned, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, stir in soy sauce and vinegar. Drizzle over asparagus, tossing well to coat. Serve immediately.
