Cream margarine and sugar, adding eggs one at a time. Add rest of ingredients, down to salt. Add a few drops of red food coloring to the dough, and swirl through mixture if you desire this effect.
**It is recommended to thoroughly chill dough before rolling it into balls and placing them on a greased cookie sheet. Flatten the balls slightly, before baking for 14 minutes at 350. While baking, prepare glaze mix with last 3 ingredients.
Glaze cookies while still slightly warm. Mix together and pour over cookies, spreading as needed.
