     Dijon Sirloin Tips

Ingredients
1-1/4 lb.sirloin tips, cubed
2Tbl. Butter or margerine
1Tbl. vegetable oil
3 cups sliced, fresh mushrooms
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 cup beef broth
1/4 cup white wine vinegar or cider vinegar
1-1/2 tsp soy sauce
2 tsp dijon mustard
 
2 tsp cornstarch
1/2 cup whipping cream

Instructions
Brown meat in butter & oil; transfere to an ungreased 2qt. baking dish.
In the same skillet, saute'mushrooms & garlic until mushrooms are tender @ 3 minutes. Pour mushrooms, garlic & drippings over meat. Cover & bake 325degrees for 1-3/4 to 2 hours or until meat is tender.
In skillet, combine broth, vinegar and soy sauce; bring to a boil. Boil for 2minutes; set aside.
Combine mustard, corstarch and cream.Stir into broth mixture. Bring to a boil; boil for 2minutes, stirring constantly. Drain juices from baking dish into broth mixture. Cook over medium heat until thick & bubbly. Add beef mixture.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with egg noodles
