1 c. chopped onion
|

1 T butter
|

1 can (28 oz) tomatoes with liquid, cut up
|

1 can (4oz) mushroom stems & pieces drained
|
|
2 t. dried oregano
|
|
1 lb ground beef, browned and drained
|
|
12 oz spaghetti, cooked and drained
|
|

2 c. (8oz) shredded cheddar cheese
|
|
1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
|
|
1/4 c. water
|
|
1/4 c. grated Parmesan Cheese
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
|

Instructions |
|
|
Saute onion and green pepper in butter until tender. Add tomatoes, mushrooms, olives, and oregano. Add ground beef. Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.

Put 1/2 the spaghetti in a greased 13x9x2 baking dish. Top with 1/2 the vegetable mix. Sprinkle with 1 cup cheddar cheese. Repeat layers.

|
Mix soup and water until smooth. Pour over casserole. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
|
|
|
Bake, uncovered, 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until heated through.
