Boil 1/2 kettle of potatoes. Add salt. MASH POTATOES: 1-1/2 sticks melted butter. Add to potatoes and use electric mixer to beat well. Put potatoes thru ricer in large plastic bowl. COVER and put in fridge overnight.
(3) mugs of potatoes; sprinkle little bit of salt and 2/3 mug sifted flour; use accordingly (not all). Work with hands. Roll into balls and roll out.
Roll on canvas; fry; lay lefse on single layer on towels. When cool, stack and cover.
