cut the steak into bite size pieces.
heat oil in a casserole dish (10cup capacity) cook the steak in batches, stirring until browned. remove from dish.
add onion and garlic to dish and cook, stirring until onion is soft. add tomato paste, undrained tomatoes. return the steak to casserole dish and mix well. bring to the boil, then cover
cook in an oven at 190c for about 11/2 hours or until steak is tender. stir in capsicum, carrots, potatoes and peas. cover and return to oven. cook for another 15 minutes.
