     Old Fashioned Tomato Soup

Ingredients
1 Can (28oz) crushed tomatoes
1 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup butter or margerine
2 Tbl sugar
1 Tbl sugar
1 Tbl chopped onion
1/8 tsp. baking soda
2 cup heavy cream
 
Instructions
In a saucepan, combine first 6 ingredients. Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
Heat cream in the top of a double broiler over simmering water; add to tomato mixtur just before serving.
