Ingredients
1 cup room temperature, softened, butter ( not margarine )
1 large egg yolk at room temperature
6 oz semisweet chocolate, melted and cooled
1 tablespoon powdered instant coffee
1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
1 1/4 cups sifted powdered sugar
 

Instructions
Cream the butter until fluffy, about 3 minutes. Beat in the egg yolk, then add the melted chocolate and beat well. Add the instant coffee and vanilla and beat for 3 minutes. Gradually add the powdered sugar and beat, scraping bowl as necessary, until smooth and creamy. When cake has cooled thoroughly, ice between the layers. then ice top and sides of cake.
