Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 10" springform pan. For crust use your favorite recipe or a premade crust.
For Filling, combine pumpkin, sweetened condensed milk, cream cheese, egg, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla, nutmeg, and salt, beat until smooth. Stir in hot water.
Pour into crust and bake 50-60 minutes, or until set. Allow to cool. Loosen sides of pie with knife. Remove sides from springform pan.
I always use instead of a spring form pan a premade crust and a pie pan.
