     Never-Fail Fudge

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
4 cups sugar
1 (12oz) can evaporated milk
1 (12oz) package semisweet chocolate chips
1 (7oz) jar marshmallow cream
1 cup chopped nuts (any kind desired) optional
 

Instructions
Grease a 13x 9-inch pan. Melt butter in a heavy 2-quart pan, stir in sugar and evaporated milk. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Keep boiling over medium heat until mixture reaches 234 degrees or soft ball stage. Make sure you stir constantly to prevent scorching.
Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted. Fold in marshmallows cream until smooth; stir in nuts. Pour into prepared pan. Cool to room temp; cut into squares.
