Cover lentils with 2-3" of water & soak overnight. Add 2" water, pepper, bay leaf, rosemary, ground mustard, celery tops, carrots, and onions. Boil briefly, then simmer for about 2 hours.

Remove celery tops & bay leaves. Add sausage, sliced celery, worcestershire sauce, & 8 oz can of tomato sauce. Boil, then simmer. Add salt to taste.
