     Layered Pistachio Dessert

Ingredients
1 1/4 cups Bisquick Baking Mix
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
3 tablespoons firm margarine or butter
1/2 cup finely chopped nuts
1 cup powdered sugar
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 cup chilled whipping cream
2 packages (3 3/4 ounces each) pistachio instant pudding
2 1/2 cups cold milk
 
1 tablespoon powdered sugar

Instructions
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix baking mix, brown sugar and margarine until crumbly. Stir in nuts. Prss in ungreased rectangular pan. (13x9 inches). Bake until light brown, about 10 minutes; cool.
Beat 1 cup powdered sugar and the cream cheese until smooth. Beat whipping cream in chlled bowl until stiff. Fold 1 cup of the whipped cream into cream cheese mixture; spread over cooled baked layer. (Can substitute cool whip)
Mix pudding (dry) and milk with hand beater until thick, about 2 minutes; carefully pour over cream cheese mixture. Cover and refrigerate until firm. Fold 1 tablespoon powdered sugar into remaining whipped cream. Garnish each serving with sweetened whipped cream and, if desired, chocolate curls. (Or top with cool whip and chopped nuts.)
