     Whole Wheat Sinckerdoodles

Ingredients
one stick of butter
3/4 cup of brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 1/2 cups of whole wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons sugar
 
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions
1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
2.In a large mixing bowl, beat butter until softend. Add brown sugar and beat until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla. Beat well and should all be blended all together. 3. In a medium mixing bowl stir flour, baking soda, crean of tartar, and salt. With a mixer slowly add flour mixture to butter mixture beating untill well mixed. Stirl together the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
Shap the dough into o1-inch balls. Roll the balls in the sugar-cinnamon mixture. Place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten slightly with the bottom of a drinking glass.
Bake in the 375 degree oven for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are firm.
