     Mom's Hamburger Soup

Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
2 cans stewed tomatoes
12 oz beef broth
diced carrots and celery
1/4 cup barley
bay leaf
 
Instructions
Brown ground beef until cooked adding spices to taste
Combine all ingredients in a large pot. Add cooked ground beef.
Simmer for several hours and serve
