     Creme Brulee French Toast

Ingredients
1 stick butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons corn syrup
Country loaf of bread (or cut hearty bread into 1 inch slices)
5 eggs
1 1/2 cups half and half
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon Grand Marnier
1/2 teaspoon salt
 

Instructions
Melt butter with sugar and syrup.
Fit bread slices into 10" x 15" pan.
Beat remaining ingredients and pour over bread.
Allow bread to soak overnight. Place in refrigerator. Next morning, allow to reach room temperature. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 35-40 minutes.
