Instructions
Combine 2 1/4 cups flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon salt in small bowl.
Beat 2 sticks butter (softened), 3/4 cup granulated sugar, 3/4 cup packed brown sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla. Add 2 eggs (1 at a time beating well after each). Gradually beat in 2 1/4 cups flour. Stir in 2 cups morsels and 1 cup nuts.
Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake at 375 for 9-11 minutes. Let stand 1-2 minutes.
