     Granola Bars

Ingredients
2 cup oats
1 cup rice chex
1 cup wheat chex
1 cup wheaties/bran flakes
1/2 cup choc. chips
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup honey
3/4 cup peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
 

Instructions
In a large bowl, crush the chex and wheaties, then add the oats and choc. chips.
In a small saucespan, combine brown sugar, corn syrup and honey. bring to a boil, stirring constantly. stir in peanut better and vanilla; blend until smooth.
Pour into a 13" by 9" pan (I put down wax paper first). Push down firmly all over the pan. I use another piece of waxed paper and the p. chef roller to flaten it.
Cool and cut into bars. NOTE: I use whatever cereal I have ...corn flakes, kashi, granola. I also threw in coconut and pumpkin seeds last time I made them. Be creative!!
Serving Suggestions
I package into packs of 4 so that they are easy to grab and go.
