     Meatball Soup

Ingredients
1 pound lean ground pork
3/4 cup rolled oats, quick or old fashioned
2 Tablespoos light soy sauce
1 Tablespoon dry sherry
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 1/2 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
1/2 teaspoon greshly ground pepper
2 quarts chicken broth
1 cup water
 
1 1/2 cup snow peas
1 cup thinly sliced carrot strips
1 1/2 cup bean sprouts
1/4 cup thinly sliced green onion

Instructions
Combine pork, oats. spy sauce, sherry, sesame oil, ginger, pepper and 1/4 cup chicken broth in large bowl; mix well.
Shape into 1 inch meatballs; broil 6 to 8 inches from heat for 7 to 10 minutes.
In a 4 quart saucepan, combine meatballs with water and remaining broth; bring to a boil over high heat. Add snow peas, carrots and bean sprouts; cook 1 to 2 minutes. Turn off heat; add green onions. Serve immediately.
