Mix dry ingredients. Cut Shortening into flour Mixture, untill lumps are small and resembles corn flour. Add Milk by spoonfuls, mixing between, untill sides are clean of flour.
Squish into a flattened ball. Roll to 1 inch tall. Let rest on a floured board for 10 min.
Cut into 3 inch pieces with a floured knife or Biscuit cutter. Place on Cookie shett and bake for 12-15 Minutes. Serve warm with butter, honey & jams.
