     Fajitas

Ingredients
1 1/2 t. each seasoned salt, ground cumin
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 t. each chili powder and crushed red pepper (Lila uses tobasco sauce)
2 T. each vegetable oil and lemon juice
1 1/2 lbs beef or skinned chicken, sliced into thin strips
Combine above and marinade for at least 2 hours
Fajitas:
3-4 T. vegetable oil
 
1/2 c. sliced white onion
1/2 c. chopped green onion
1 c. sliced bell pepper, red or green
8 flour tortillas, warm
2 avocados, peeled and sliced
salsa
sour cream

Instructions
Quickly saute vegetables in oil until lightly browned; remove from pan. Saute marinated meat about 4 minutes, toss with vegetables, spoon into flour tortillas. Serve with avocado, salsa and sour cream. I like to add some tomato wedges too.

Spanish rice and cornbread
