Sift flour, baking powder and salt onto wax paper; set aside. Beat
oleo, sugar, egg and vanilla in medium bowl untl smooth. Stir in flour
mixture until well blended.

Divide dough into 4 parts. Shape each part into roll as long as your
cookie sheet. Space about 1 inch apart on ungreased sheets. Flatten
rolls slightly; press a 1/4-inch trough down center of each roll with
the handle of a spoon, leaving ends solid to keep filling in place.

Spoon filling into trough, filling to level of dough. Bake at 350 for
17 minutes or until light golden brown.

Cut warm cookies into 3/4-inch wide diagonal slices. Drizzle with 10x
icing or sprinkle with chopped pistachio nuts or sprinkle with 10x
sugar.
